Alistair, another true historian of the castle, gives a brief tour of the original dungeon, accessed by a 20 foot drop straight down into an earthen pit. If you were a prisoner and they 'liked' you, you would get lowered by a rope. If not, you would probably have to add a broken bone to your list of problems in the dungeon.
